TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Considerable high clouds will be over the area throughout the day, but the primary weather story today and tomorrow will be the strong winds and critical fire weather. RED FLAG WARNINGS are in effect from noon to 7 PM today, then 10 AM to 8 PM tomorrow for all of southern Arizona. High temperatures will be well above normal today, then cooling to near or below normalWednesday and Thursday with warming again thereafter.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Sunny skies and soaring highs continue. Highs will top out 7-10° above normal, with Tucson possibly hitting 100° Sunday and Monday. Winds will be windy out of the east Saturday, then breezy out of the west Monday through Wednesday. Temperatures cool to a few degrees below normal by mid next week.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — The weather system that brought cooler temperatures and much needed showers to the area will exit the region today, bringing a few more isolated showers, mainly after 2 PM. Gusty winds can be expected around any thunderstorms that develop, and afternoon temps will be 8-10° warmer than yesterday. Temperatures will trend warmer each day reaching near or at 100 degrees by thisweekend.

Cooler temperatures again today, then rebounding the second half of the week, with the possibility for reaching the century mark in the Tucson area by Friday.
