SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB/Gray News) - U.S. Marshals, with the help of several law enforcement agencies, rescued 60 missing children. The “critically missing” children were rescued from Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties in Florida. They ranged in age from 9 to 17. According to the U.S. Marshals, “critically missing” children are those at risk of crimes of violence or those with other elevated risk factors such as substance abuse, sexual exploitation, crime exposure or domestic violence.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO/Gray News) - A mother had to make a desperate decision to save her baby’s life when their apartment building caught on fire in Ohio. Thankfully, a group of people, including Reginald Barnes, were there to help. “I was like, ‘Drop the baby. Let her go. I am going to catch her,’” Barnes said. He said he was in the parking lot of the apartment complex Monday afternoon when he heard an explosion.

RADFORD, Va. (WDBJ/Gray News) - A family reunited with their dog after losing him in 2021. Emalee Boyd found Romeo at the Radford Animal Shelter in Virginia, and said that finally, their family feels whole again. Boyd said that she does not feel like she has always had the best luck, but finding Romeo proved her wrong. “It was very surreal, I guess you could say, because it’s been so long, but it, it’s amazing, I love him so much,” she said. Romeo joined the Boyd family in 2019.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV/Gray News) - A woman was run over and killed by her own vehicle while she was pumping gas on Sunday. According to the Kansas City Police Department, a woman driving a Ford F150 was at a gas station getting gas when the truck began to roll backward. The woman tried to get back in the truck on the passenger side but fell and was run over by the Ford. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said they are still investigating.
