JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A chance encounter led to a heartwarming show of support for a local Door Dasher. Ireland Dannehold, posted a video on TikTok of her DoorDash driver, Larry Bailey, wanting to find him to help raise money for him. The TikTok video reached millions worldwide, prompting Dannehold to start a GoFundMe campaign for Bailey. “I’ve done a lot of things in my life. I’ve just handed someone that you don’t know a bag of food from Panera Bread. You don’t expect a whole lot,” Bailey said.

A GoFundMe set up by Ireland Dannehold is going viral after she interacted with a Doordasher at her apartment. She said she couldn’t stop thinking about him after their interaction.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Residents on the Westside of Jacksonville are expressing concerns about Shores Liquor Store’s proposal to add a tasting room as part of its new project. The store is currently under construction at the intersection of Collins Road and Old Middleburg Road, just over 1,300 feet from Enterprise Learning Academy. City code stipulates that any establishment where alcohol is consumed, but food is not served, must be located at least 1,500 feet from a school or church.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Family members identified the man who was killed in a shooting Wednesday in the parking lot of Copeland’s restaurant on Jacksonville’s Southside. The family identified the man as Kenneth Mobley. On Wednesday afternoon, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at the restaurant located at the intersection of Southside Boulevard and Touchton Road. The incident prompted a large police presence. A JSO helicopter, drone, and K-9 were also seen at the scene.
