A temporary city rises during the weeklong event that ends with the burning of a giant wooden figure. Burning Man sells its tickets in three different phases: the today sale, the tomorrow sale and the OMG sale. The first two have closed. The OMG Sale opens at noon on July 30. Here’s a list of events and attractions that don’t involve bucking bulls or lassos. Reno Rodeo Carnival | June 19 – 28Thrills, games, and classic carnival fare return in 2025. The carnival opens at 4 p.m. on weekdays and noon on weekends. Wristbands are $40 when purchased on the day of the event.

    Summer is nearly here. The days are warmer, and the nights are longer. One of Reno’s most popular summer traditions — Food Truck Friday — is returning Friday, June 6 to Idlewild Park. The 13-week event runs from 4- 9 p.m. Fridays through August 29. What about the rest of Reno?     Nevada's cage-free egg mandate will resume on June 20 as egg prices continue to drop. In February, the Nevada Department of Agriculture temporarily suspended the state's cage-free egg law due to ongoing shortages and skyrocketing prices. The Nevada law bans sale of eggs from non-cage-free hens. The minimum usable space requirements for egg-laying hens under the law is one square foot per hen.
