"It is with deep sorrow that we confirm the tragic loss of a contracted employee who was involved in an incident on one of our training ranges. COPPERAS COVE, Texas (KXXV) — Copperas Cove police are investigating a murder after responding to a call Saturday morning. They have a suspect in custody. Officers were sent out to a home in the 900 block of Tanner Drive after 11:30 a.m. for reports of a gunshot victim. They found a 31-year-old woman with gunshot wounds. She was sent to the hospital, and later died from her injuries. After investigating the scene and speaking with witnesses, police found a suspect at a nearby hotel.

KILLEEN, Texas (KXXV) — Killeen police are investigating the death of a 39-year-old man. Officers received a 911 call about a single-vehicle motorcycle crash and were sent out to Roy Reynolds Drive and East Rancier Avenue. They found a man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the Carl R. Darnall Army Community Hospital and later died from his injuries around 4 a.m. Saturday.

KILLEEN, Texas (KXXV) — One woman is dead after an early morning single-vehicle crash in Killeen Wednesday. Police responded to a the intersection of Veterans Memorial Blvd. and 38th street around 3 a.m. Our Killeen officers found the vehicle on fire, with witnesses performing first-aid on a woman. She was transported to the Carl R. Darnall Medical Center in critical condition. Police say their initial investigation shows a white car was heading eastbound on Veterans Memorial Blvd. at high speed.

3-month-old infant, woman killed in Lampasas County crash

LAMPASAS, Texas (KXXV) — A 3-month-old infant and woman died in a fatality crash west of Kempner Saturday. State troopers responded to the scene after 9 p.m. on US 290. They determined that an SUV crossed into the opposing lane and crashed into a guard rail. The driver and a 3-month old infant were not wearing seatbelts, and were ejected from the vehicle. Both died on scene. A 5-year-old, 7-year-old, as well as a 2-year-old passenger in the vehicle also weren't restrained properly.

Owner charged in connection to child abuse at Temple daycare

TEMPLE, Texas (KXXV) — The owner of Ignite Learning Academy has been arrested in to connection to child abuse charges 25 News told you about last week. Temple police and the Department of Family and Protective Services have through investigation determined that Taylor Beck, the owner of Ignite Learning Academy is charged with failure to report a felony. Beck turned herself in to Bell County Jail today.
