Wednesday night: We’re tracking another disturbance that will blanket snow across much of the state starting near and just after sunset. Snow carries into the early overnight hours with some spots possibly hitting the 1″-2″ range. Travel will be slick in spots, so use caution on the roads tonight and Thursday morning.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We are tracking a couple of systems that will bring accumulating snow to the forecast through midweek. Frigid arctic air also hangs on for another few days before we break free and track towards warmer temperatures into this weekend. Tuesday night: Snow overspreads southern Indiana tonight through the first several hours of Wednesday morning. Coverage may expand close to, and maybe even just north of, interstate 70.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Arctic air has made a rude re-awakening on the heels of receiving a couple inches of snow Sunday. We’re going to stay on this frigid path with several chances for snow that could feature some accumulation. Monday night: A very cold night under mostly cloudy skies is ahead for our area. There will be a weak disturbance that brings flurries to light snow in the overnight hours. Activity will move south through sunrise Tuesday.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Prepare for a very cold week with single-digit temperatures and subzero wind chills. Sunday:Expect another very cold night as actual air temperatures fall to the single digits. Scattered flurries are possible this evening under cloudy skies. Winds chills will fall near to below zero by sunrise Monday. Monday:Very cold conditions are expected to start the day on Tuesday with single digits morning lows.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Prepare for a messy weekend with both rain and wintry mix in the forecast. Frigid air returns by next week. Winter weather advisories will be in effect from 1 AM to 10 AM Saturday morning. Flood watches are also going to be in effect from 1 PM Saturday until 1 PM Sunday. Friday night: A mix of snow that will transition to freezing rain and sleet kickstarts our next system that impacts this weekend.
