MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Wisconsin Dells Police are continuing search efforts for a missing boater on the Wisconsin River after two people went missing Thursday. Police found the body of one of them Friday, and on Saturday released the identities of both individuals. Luis F. Di Filippo, 75, of Chicago, Illinois, was the boater recovered Friday afternoon. His body was spotted by a Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources aircraft assisting with the search around noon, and then pulled from the river.

BELOIT, Wis. (WMTV) - Beloit police reported on Friday that they are looking for a 47-year-old woman, who was reported missing by her family. According to the department’s Facebook page, authorities said Rebecca L. Osmond last spoke with her family on February 22. Her phone is off and she hasn’t spoken to her family, officials explained. Beloit officials said they believe she arrived in Tampa, Florida via an Amtrak train on February 24.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Green Lake County community is supporting the family of Ryan Borgwardt after it is believed he faked his own death and fled to Europe, leaving his family behind. The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, along with several other agencies, are continuing to investigate Borgwardt, who they originally believed had appeared to drown in a lake while kayaking. Sheriff Mark Podoll confirmed details of the investigation Monday in a one-on-one with WMTV 15 News.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - On Tuesday, Instagram added new Teen Account settings which are meant to protect users under 18 years old and give parents more control into what their child views. Teen Instagram users, who are 13-17 years old, had their accounts automatically turn private, meaning they need to approve who follows them.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Police Department is restructuring its investigative services unit to create a family justice unit. This unit will follow up on cases of domestic violence. A homicide early Friday morning on the north side of Madison is the second homicide this year to involve a domestic relationship. It is the third homicide in the city this year. MPD also works with partners to help victims of domestic violence.
