Nine-foot-tall statues are now towering over Water Street as part of the Hall of Fame Walk. The statues, each weighing about one ton, were installed on Wednesday. “They're stout. They're not going anywhere, and they're going to continue to tell Mobile's story moving forward,” said Brett Grill, the sculptor. The project honors six iconic athletes from Mobile.
