    Days after announcing his run for Governor, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville is continuing to deal with allegations that he does not meet the residency requirements necessary to hold the office. In a short Wednesday interview on 95.3’s The Steve & DC Morning Show, Tuberville (R-Auburn) told the hosts he isn’t worried about the liberal speculation in the slightest. “I’ve had land here and houses since 1999, which is over 25 years. I’ve been here,” said Tuberville.

    Alabama Republican Young Boozer announced Wednesday that he is once again running for the position of state treasurer. The new bid marks Boozer’s fourth campaign for the office. An experienced banker by trade, Boozer was first elected to the position in 2010 and then again in 2014. Due to state law, he could not run for a third consecutive term.

    Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate and former Navy SEAL, Jared Hudson, is calling out the D.C. establishment for allowing biological males to compete in girls’ sports. In a post on X, the Alabama native specifically took issue with transgender competitors taking home female state titles in Democrat run states. “Girls’ sports are under fire. Just over the weekend, biological males competing in girls’ sports won competitions not only in California but four other blue states,” said Hudson.
