The Tigers are generating serious preseason buzz. VIPClemson has been ranked in the preseason AP poll every year since 2012. Dabo Swinney's team started the season No. 12 when it reached the national title game in 2015. From 2016-2020, the Tigers started and finished every season inside the top five. After missing on top-10 expectations from 2021-2023, Clemson opened the 2024 season outside of the top 10, nearly falling out of the poll after the loss to Georgia in Week 1.
