VIP Notebook: Where are Clemson’s official visitors taking trips this weekend? The Tigers' top remaining prospects are back on the road. It's all fun and games when they're on your campus. Not as much fun when your high-priority prospects are elsewhere. – A trio of targets will be in Athens visiting Georgia this weekend.

If you watched Leo Delaney's live commitment on 247Sports yesterday, hosted by my friend Tom Loy, you heard me utter 'best offensive line class in program history.'Well, it's hard to really confirm that here at 247Sports, where our database only goes back to 2010. However, I was able to analyze the last 15 years of stars and rankings. In the last four cycles, Clemson has had a combined four O-linemen that were ranked inside the Top247.

Clemson has a second commitment on the defensive line. Three-star EDGE prospect JR Hardrick committed to the Tigers, becoming the first addition on the trail in the 2026 class for Chris Rumph. After striking out on a couple of other offers on the board, Rumph began targeting the South Pittsburg, Tenn. native when he took a spring visit to Clemson on March 24. He took other trips to Mississippi State, Wake Forest, Duke and North Carolina before arriving on the Tigers' campus.

Delaney is the latest of a massive offensive line haul for Clemson. VIPComing into town for his official visit, I wouldn't have pegged Leo Delaney as the first member of the guest list last weekend to become the first on the commitment list. Delaney himself would have said he had an intense race entering his slate of official visits. Michigan and Penn State are two programs known for pounding the rock with a strong stable of offensive line prowess.

After his teammate and close friend David Sanders Jr. committed to Tennessee, many projected that the Volunteers held the keys to the car in the recruitment of Leo Delaney. Michigan is another that had a lot of confidence this spring. Penn State was expecting an official visit, too. Clemson got him on campus first, though, and now that'll be his only trip. And that's why you keep recruiting. The Tigers have been all over this race since its inception, bringing him on campus for a game two years ago.
