TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - An upper-level low is helping to enhance cloud cover over the Big Bend and South Georgia this afternoon. The clouds have stuck around a bit longer than we anticipated. On the bright side, it did keep temperatures a bit cooler today. Enjoy it today, because with the sun out the remainder of this week, temperatures will make it to the 90s. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - There is still a possibility that we see some showers and storms develop this afternoon and evening with a cold front back to our west and the afternoon sunshine. Now that thicker high clouds have moved in, that should limit the higher potential of widespread showers and storms across the area, so just look for a few showers and storms developing. A stronger storm is possible, with the highest risk for the eastern Big Bend.

Based on the latest model guidance I am still expecting a line of storms to arrive in the early morning hours that may bring strong winds, localized flooding, and an isolated tornado risk. Slight Risk - SPC(WCTV)The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire area under a slight risk, level 2/5.
