The Kaduna State Government has expressed willingness to meet with the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) to resolve contentious issues that led to the Kaduna State University(KASU) strike. Residents of Barga, Awon ward in Kachia local government area in the southern part of Kaduna State, have commended Governor Uba Sani for approving the establishment of a Military Forward Operations Base (FOB). The residents gave the commendation during a tour of the project by the APC stakeholders in Kachia. Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, has declared that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will continue to dominate the State, saying very soon it will become a one-party state. The governor disclosed that about four members of the House of Representatives from the opposition parties in the State defected to APC, adding that members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly from different parties have also defected to the ruling party.
