A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has advised President Bola Tinubu not to seek for a second term in office in 2027 elections. This is as he applauded former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, former Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, and former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, as well as others, for forming a new political platform, the All Democratic Alliance (ADA).

Ahead of the planned resumption of oil exploration activities in Ogoniland, a group, the Conscience of Ogoni People (COOP) has called on President Bola Tinubu, to set up a Joint Military Task Force to secure government assets, oil facilities and private sector investments in the area. COOP leader, Chief Gani Topba, who made the call while speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt yesterday, said setting up JTF in the area will also create a leeway for investors to troop into Ogoniland.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Hon. Innocent Ajaelu, has declared that the newly formed political association, the All Democratic Alliance (ADA), seeking for registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), will not be a threat to the ruling party during the 2027 general election. Ajaelu, who made the declaration yesterday while speaking with LEADERSHIP in Port Harcourt, the state capital, described those behind ADA as ‘serial failures’.
