113 Years Later: Titanic artifacts on display in Branson

It was 113 years ago today, on April 15, 1912, when the Titanic struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic. Of the total 2,240 passengers and crew on board, more than 1,500 lives were lost and 706 survived. As part of Titanic Remembrance Week, the anniversary is being marked with a special event at the Titanic Museum Attraction in Branson, Missouri. On April 16th and 17th, the attraction is welcoming back one of its most dedicated and long-standing collectors, Tony Probst, for a special visit.

Greene County celebrates 96-year-old election judge's service

GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — Marjorie Shelton has been a witness to the ever-changing process of elections. At 96, the Willard native has helped citizens cast their local ballots since 1954. She’s going on 71 years of serving as a Greene County election judge. On March 25th, a few weeks ahead of the April Municipal Election, Shelton was honored by the Greene County Clerk’s Office and the Greene County Commission with a proclamation for service to the community.

Changes to United State Postal Service just took effect and it could impact how you get your mail. USPS says it’s refining its service standards for First-Class Mail, Periodicals, Marketing Mail, Package Services, USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, and Priority Mail Express. Under the new approach, some mail will have a faster standard, and some will have a slightly slower standard. The changes took effect on April 1st as part of the ongoing Delivering for America 10-year plan.

LEBANON, Mo. – Residents in Lebanon are sharing incredible scenes of flooding with Ozarks First Friday afternoon. The heavy rains have lead to flooding, causing rushing water to flow over roadways and even knock down fences. Driving in some of these flooded areas could be dangerous and life-threatening. A reminder, less than two feet of water is enough to carry a vehicle downstream. It’s better to turn around and add a few extra minutes to your commute than risk your life.
