He just received his senior-year plaque for perfect attendance. It’s the last one he’ll get, but it’s the final plaque in his collection of 12. Steelman is finishing his academic career with perfect attendance. 13 years of perfect attendance to be exact, if you include preschool.

ST. ROBERT, Mo. – A new tribute to the Mother Road is set to light up the night sky in St. Robert on Friday, May 9th. It’s called the Route 66 Neon Park and it’s located at George M. Reed Roadside Park in St. Robert. The park is the first of its kind in the Show Me State, featuring nearly a dozen restored neon signs that once stood along the Missouri portion of Route 66, paying tribute to the nostalgic roadside stops that once lined America’s most famous highway.

An ongoing project to ensure the future of our drinking water and the wildlife that call our lakes home. Conservation, nature and utility workers in Springfield are launching another floating wetland Wednesday at Fellows Lake. The goal of the man-made floating wetland is to improve water quality and create an aquatic habitat where fish and other wildlife can thrive.
