(KTVZ) -- On Wednesday night, the Bend City Council gave input to city staff and finalized proposed rates for Phase 2 of its year-old Transportation Fee, which on homes would nearly double, from $5.60 to $10.50 a month. The Phase 2 draft fee schedule is available at bendoregon.gov/transportation-fee (and below). The City Council decided to implement the Transportation Fee through a phased approach.

By late afternoon, they said the two likely had left the area. Bend Police Communications Manager Sheila Miller said that around 10:33 a.m. Bend Police attempted a traffic stop on a silver Kia Rio in the area of Deschutes Market and Yeoman roads.
