(KTVZ) – A previously convicted local sex offender was sentenced to nearly 10 years in prison Friday following a multi-agency investigation for drug dealing and possession of child sexual abuse material. Richard Jay Jackson, 61, of Bend, was sentenced to a total of 115 months (9 years, 7 months) in prison, to be followed by three years of post-prison supervision, the DA's office said in a news release that continues in full below.
