The station is owned by BendBroadband, a local cable provider, which also owns the ABC affiliate KOHD (channel 18). Both KBNZ-LD and KOHD operate out of the same studios located on Lower Meadow Drive in Bend, with KBNZ-LD's transmitter situated in the city on Awbrey Butte, just west of US 97.
