BEND, Ore. -- Immersion Brewing in the Box Factory in Bend is no longer. It is now UPP Liquids. "We have a new lineup of beers. We have a new look in the brewery. This team has a lot of high energy and we expect to do lots of fun events in our banquet space," UPP Liquids owner Tonya Cornett said. The new team is made up of the former innovators who were laid off from 10 Barrel Brewing last September.

The Crook County Cowboys are 4A state track and field champions once again. This time, with a dramatic finish. The Cowboys edged out Henley 78 to 74 at Hayward Field to claim their second straight title. And it all came down to the final race: the 4x400 relay. “We had to beat Henley,” said head coach Ernie Brooks. “Never been part of a meet that came down to the last race like that.”Heading into the final lap, it looked like the Hornets would spoil Crook County’s repeat bid.

REDMOND, Ore. -- Fire crews spent all of Wednesday mopping up the smoldering aftermath left by the Euston Fire. Redmond Fire and Rescue Fire Marshal Tom Mooney said the fire scorched an estimated 35 acres. It also caused Level 2 "Be Set" evacuation notices in Redmond. "I smelt it first. We ran out from the shop to take a look because every thing's dry. That's when I hopped in my tractor and yelled at my wife to call 911 and get someone coming this way," neighbor Zach Hastings said.

SUNRIVER, Ore. -- A blank brick wall was turned into a canvas on the Three Rivers School playground on Tuesday as students gathered to paint a design that's been a month in the making. "I think it's really nice because it makes it more interesting and it's nice to see representation for the area,' eighth grader Delila Stevenot said. The students have been assisted by local artist Teafly Peterson.
