DIVERSIFIED investment group ZimRe Holdings Ltd (ZimRe) has invested US$11 million into two signature development projects under the Eagle Real Estate Investment Trust (Eagle REIT), businessdigest can reveal.
In Mazowe, the group is constructing various structures, including trade centres, healthcare facilities, and retail spaces, which the company believes will transform the area. In Victoria Falls, developments are underway on 12 hectares of land.

BUS and truck manufacturer, AVM Africa Private Limited (AVM), wants to work with steel producer Dinson Iron and Steel Company (Disco) to ramp up its bus production capabilities.
AVM’s intention comes at a time when it has a signed agreement with the Belarusian automobile maker, Minsk Automobile Plant, that will allow it to assemble Belarusian buses locally.

FINANCE minister Mthuli Ncube yesterday called for reform of the G20 framework, advocating the suspension of all interest payments when a country initiates debt restructuring.
This, according to him, would enable the country to allocate funds towards other essential programmes while undergoing the debt relief process.

ZIMBABWE Football Association (Zifa) normalisation committee passed on a golden opportunity to appoint an experienced high-profile coach who has proven himself at the grand stages to pick a nomadic mentor with no track record of success.
Yesterday, Zifa announced that they had settled for 57-year-old German coach Michael Nees to take over as the Warriors coach.
Fifa will pay the new coach and here was an opportunity for Zifa to pick Winfried Schäfer who has won the Africa Cup of Nations before.
