JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Troopers with the Louisiana State Police are investigating after a pedestrian was killed in a crash in Jefferson Parish on Thursday, April 17. The LSP reported that the crash happened on the upper level of US 90B near Stumpf Boulevard around 5 a.m.LSP officials said an initial investigation shows that 24-year-old Shamond Jacobs was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado while walking in the eastbound lanes of US 90B. Jacobs was pronounced dead at the scene.
