    There may be no better way to start the day than with an egg and cheese-laden breakfast burrito, wrapped in a pliant tortilla.     To the untrained eye, a breakfast sandwich may simply appear to be a traditional American breakfast arranged vertically on bread, but this is not the case. A breakfast sandwich is often breakfast in its most ideal form — each ingredient layered to support the other. A tender disk of egg enrobed in cheese and hot sauce rests between pillowy slices of English muffin with a hint of sourdough tang. Two flaky country biscuits balance the sweetness of sausage and jam between them.
