GREENFIELD — The family of a man murdered in an unprovoked stabbing six years ago in Greenfield says they were blindsided when they learned the alleged killer is back on the streets. 24-year-old Amando Lang was charged with first-degree intentional homicide in 2019, but the case never went to trial because he was deemed mentally incompetent.

GREENFIELD — Greenfield’s police chief and mayor are sharing concerns with TMJ4 News after a Greenfield man is allowed back into the community six years after being charged for allegedly stabbing and killing a man. 25-year-old Amando Lang was ruled mentally incompetent to stand trial. Greenfield police say they didn’t know he was released back into the community for treatment until they responded to a mental health crisis for Lang at an apartment building over the weekend.

OCONOMOWOC — An Oconomowoc school that serves students with disabilities is now at the center of a federal civil rights lawsuit. The parents of a teen with autism are suing Genesee Lake School, alleging its staff repeatedly used chemical injections and excessive force to restrain their daughter.
