    TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department arrested multiple people after officers said a call reporting an attempted shooting led to a chase through the Tulsa area. Officers responded to reports of a shooting near North Garrison Avenue and East 55th Place North around 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. When officers arrived, they said two people reported they had been shot at while sitting in their car and provided a description of the suspect’s car.

    OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — A complaint was filed by Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond against CVS Pharmacy to recover any lost Medicaid funds the company gathered fraudulently. Drummond’s complaint accuses the pharmacy of violating Oklahoma’s False Claims Act by charging Medicaid programs higher prices than the standard prices charged to the general public. “Oklahoma taxpayers deserve to see that their money is spent fairly and appropriately,” said Drummond.

    TULSA COUNTY, Okla. — Tulsa County will begin early voting for the May 13 Special Republican Runoffs in State Representative Districts 71 and 74 on Thursday. Early voting will be held on May 8 and 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on both days. Early voting is available for any registered Tulsa County voter eligible to vote in the May 13 election as long as they haven’t already returned an absentee ballot.

    MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Update: The Oklahoma Highway Patrol recovered the bodies of two drowning victims in Muskogee County. On Monday night, four people were in a canoe that capsized near Silver Canyon RV Ranch. OHP said two people were able to swim to shore, while a man and a girl did not make it back. Troopers arrived this morning, aware it was a recovery effort and not a rescue. OHP said the bodies were found in 24 feet of clear water.
