AbstractSingle-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) is a crucial tool in kidney research. These technologies cluster cells according to transcriptome similarity, irrespective of the anatomical location and ordering within the nephron. Thus, a cluster transcriptome may obscure heterogeneity of the cell population within a nephron segment. Elevated dietary fructose leads to salt-sensitive hypertension, in part by fructose reabsorption in the proximal tubule (PT).

Additional Questions Under the New Law Banning Noncompetes Amendments to an employment agreement The statute applies to any noncompete entered into on or after July 1, 2023. What does entered into mean? Does amending an employment agreement with a pre-existing noncompete result in its being entered into post - July 1, 2023? What if the amendment does not impact the noncompete and deals only with other terms? What if an agreement is assigned as part of a sale of a practice?

Capsules MN Medical Cannabis Program Expands Access The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has recently completed the process of adding irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) to the list of qualifying medical conditions for participation in Minnesota’s medical cannabis program. Effective July 1, 2023, Minnesota patients certified with either IBS or OCD can now enroll in the state’s medical cannabis program.
