    PAOLI — By the simplest of acts, the planting of trees, American liberty was grandly recognized at two Revolutionary sites, in both Malvern and Chadds Ford, on Tuesday. Tulip poplar seedlings — Liberty Trees — were recently planted at the Paoli Battlefield in Malvern and Brandywine Battlefield Park in Chadds Ford to commemorate America’s upcoming 250th anniversary in 2026.

    PARKESBURG—Route 10 is celebrating 100 years and there’s a big party on Saturday. The 2025 celebration will start at the Morgantown Auto Mall on Saturday, June 7 at 10 a.m. and proceed to is termination in Oxford at approximately 11:30 a.m.Vintage cars, including a 1929 Packard Opera Court, driven by Jeff Hery will make the historic trek and caravan 100 years later. Participants can then have lunch at the Oxford hotel if desired.

    THORNBURY—More than 100 students, staff, teachers and parents joyfully attended The Concept School’s Spring Art Festival, Thursday night. Visual art from every student filled the school hallways and the Spring presentation of an adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, “The Legend of The Hound of the Baskervilles” captivated the packed audience in the school’s auditorium.
