    MINNEAPOLIS — A couple of baseball games are beginning earlier than planned to accommodate a busy weekend of Twin Cities' sports. Minnesota Twins officials announced Monday they're moving the first pitch for their Friday and Sunday games in an effort to alleviate the traffic in and out of downtown Minneapolis due to the Los Angeles Lakers being in town. Friday's Twins versus Los Angeles Angels game at Target Field will start at 6:40 p.m. rather than 7:10 p.m. as previously scheduled.

    MOORHEAD, Minn. — Moorhead police are asking for the public's help finding a teen who has gone missing this past weekend. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) issued an alert Monday afternoon for Arissa Mohamad, 14, of Moorhead. Authorities said the teen is believed to have left her residence Easter Sunday morning or Saturday night. "There is concern for her immediate health and safety," the brief news release stated.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) and West St. Paul Police Department are helping the Sioux Falls Police Department find Shalene Ball, 35. "She is believed to be endangered as law enforcement has received information that she is being held against her will," stated the BCA alert issued Saturday morning.

    ST PAUL, Minn — A gorilla at the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory was euthanized after battling damage caused by an infection. Nyati, a western lowland gorilla, passed away on Tuesday following "a significant decline in her quality of life due to long-term neurological complications," according to a news release from the zoo. Born at the zoo in 2017, Nyati was diagnosed with Baylisascaris procyonis in 2020.
