BURNSVILLE, Minn. — A Burnsville man with a documented history of domestic violence has been charged with second-degree intentional murder following the fatal stabbing of his partner, Danielle Grace Warren, 32, earlier this week, Dakota County Attorney Kathy Keena announced Friday. Jason Philip Filas, 48, was formally charged in connection with the brutal killing, which occurred inside a Burnsville residence on Wednesday, May 7.

COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. — A former high school bus driver in Cottage Grove is accused of driving drunk while he was on the job this past winter. Joshua Nathaniel Lueth, 36, of Hastings, has been charged with two counts of second-degree DWI and one count of obstructing legal process. Lueth was arrested on Feb. 26 outside Park High School in Cottage Grove. The criminal complaint states that an officer observed that Lueth's eyes were watery and his speech was slurred and slow.
