    Another round of nationwide protests is scheduled for St. Cloud and throughout America on Saturday, April 19. Over 2,000 rallied in St. Cloud against Trump Administration policies and actions on April 5 during the "Hands Off" protest at the Great River Regional Library in St. Cloud. Organizers hope to engage more than 11-million Americans across all 50 states this Saturday. In St. Cloud, the group Central Minnesota Action is staging a "No Kings Rally" -- again at the St. Cloud Public Library.

    The Cat Distribution System brought Starfish to the Tri-County Humane Society after he was found outside. This handsome boy was adopted, but returned to the shelter because he and the dogs in his new home weren't a good fit. Now he's back at the TCHS and ready to be adopted once again. Starfish is a domestic shorthair mix. He's about two years old. He's neutered. And he's gorgeous. Tri-County Humane SocietyThis golden boy is playful and loves to toss around anything as a toy.

    This Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. It's called Passion Sunday or Palm Sunday and it commemorates Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. It's the beginning of the holiest week on the Christian calendar leading to Jesus' crucifixion, death, entombment and resurrection. The New Testament is filled with imagery of that time. As part of its Passion Sunday services, Salem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud is hosting Wisconsin Pastor and Artist Paul Oman from his "Drawn to the Word" ministry.

    Shadow is quiet and keeps to herself in her kennel at the Tri-County Humane Society in St. Cloud. But once she's outside... she's a whole different pupster. This year-old doggo loves her walks. She does her business quickly and begins her exploration of the world, sniffing out her surroundings. "She’s still learning to keep her paws on the ground, but with a tasty snack as encouragement, she’s easily redirected," say TCHS staffers. She doesn't look like a 70-pound dog, but she is.

    This Thursday, April 10th, communities across the state of Minnesota will test their emergency sirens during a statewide tornado drill as part of "Severe Weather Awareness Week."There'll be two chances on Thursday to test your own personal plan you'd use in the event of a tornado warning. The sirens will blare during the drills scheduled for 1:45 pm and again at 6:45 pm. Think again. The deadliest tornado outbreak in Minnesota history happened right here in the  back in 1886. 72 people were killed.
