The Washington Wizards selected the one-and-done Texas guard with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft Wednesday at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. In his freshman season with the Longhorns, Johnson led the Southeastern Conference in scoring with 19.9 points per game and shot nearly 40% from 3-point range. Many draft evaluators and pundits consider Johnson as the best pure shooter in this year's draft.

    AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin FC goalkeeper Brad Stuver has played like an all-star for the past couple of seasons, and now he's finally officially one. Stuver, along with forward Brandon Vazquez and head coach Nico Estévez, will represent Austin FC in the 2025 Major League Soccer all-star game July 23 at Q2 Stadium. The MLS all-star squad will play the LigaMX all-stars at 8 p.m. on AppleTV's MLS Season Pass. Estévez and his staff will coach the MLS club against LigaMX's finest as the host team.
