Three people were wounded in two unrelated shootings around the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival Saturday night, authorities announced early Sunday. The first shooting occurred around 9:25 p.m. near the festival's ticket booth at Ponchatoula Memorial Park, where deputies with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office found two wounded teenage boys. One had a graze wound to the leg and the other was shot in the abdomen.

Gov. Louisiana began construction on the Peters Road bridge and extension project under former Gov.
