COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - An ongoing road project at a busy Colorado Springs intersection is creating congestion and causing drivers concerns. According to Colorado Springs officials, crews have started work to adjust the center median lane on Woodman Road between Campus Drive and I-25. They said the project will reconfigure the concrete median, adjust traffic signals, street signage, and replace road markings. They said the new traffic alignment will reduce traffic congestion.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - U.S. Forest Service crews conducted a prescribed burn near Woodland Park Friday. They said the burn took place in Rainbow Gulch, just east of Woodland Park, right next to the Rampart Reservoir. As of Friday afternoon, large clouds of smoke were highly visible from Colorado Springs.

Governor Jared Polis signed the Kelly Loving Act into law on Friday. It expands the definition of discrimination to include calling someone by their legal name when they wish to be called by a chosen name. Public and charter schools would still be impacted if the Governor signs the bill into law.
