1. IntroductionWith the continuous advancement of technology and the robust growth of the industrial manufacturing sector, there has been an increasing demand for higher precision and accuracy in absolute distance measurement. Laser radar, or LIDAR, which stands for Light Detection and Ranging, has emerged as a prominent technique due to its non-contact and high-resolution ranging capabilities.

This paper proposes a power domain superposition modulation method based on dimensional level transformation and five dimensions (5D) constellation shaping. Stacking a regular triangular pyramid and enhancing it in terms of dimensions achieves the geometric shaping of the 5D constellation. Based on this, signal superposition in the power domain is achieved through dimensional transformation for data modulation. Experimental verification was conducted on a 2 km seven-core fiber in an IM/DD system.

AbstractFaithful genome partition during cell division relies on proper congression of chromosomes to the spindle equator before sister chromatid segregation. Here we uncover a kinesin-7 motor, kinetochore-associated kinesin 1 (KAK1), that is required for mitotic chromosome congression in Arabidopsis. KAK1 associates dynamically with kinetochores throughout mitosis. Loss of KAK1 results in severe defects in chromosome congression at metaphase, yet segregation errors at anaphase are rarely observed.

AbstractBrontispa longissima is a highly destructive pest that affects coconut and ornamental palm plants. It is widely distributed across Southeast and East Asia and the Pacific region, causing production losses of up to 50–70%. While control methods and ecological phenomena have been the primary focus of research, there is a significant lack of studies on the molecular mechanisms underlying these ecological phenomena.
