Nexiican director Blake Beckham and Nexii president Russ Lambert are both Dallas lawyers. From 2019 to 2023, Robertson was executive vice-president of NBSI, which has a factory in Squamish.

The lawyer for a man charged with second-degree murder told a BC Supreme Court judge in Prince George on Thursday, May 8 that his client would not testify in his defence. Jason LeBlond said he consulted with Dakota Rayn Keewatin after the Crown wrapped its case on May 7 and told Justice Ronald Tindale that the defence would not call any evidence. The onus is on the Crown to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Supreme Court judge in New Westminster has reserved decision in a legal battle over a fourplex proposed for Garibaldi Estates and the 1959 common law building scheme that restricts development. On May 8, Justice Frits Verhoeven heard from a lawyer for Clearwater Park GP Inc., which seeks to develop the property it owns.
