HENDERSON, NV — They may not have reached their ultimate destination, but the journey was well worth the ride for the Indy Ignite. While they battled hard in Sunday’s BIC Soleil Pro Volleyball Federation Championship, the Ignite fell in four sets to the Orlando Valkyries. The team that few outside the organization gave much of a chance heading into 2025 finished their inaugural PVF season second in the league.

INDIANAPOLIS — The NBA has set the calendar for the first round of the playoffs, which get underway this weekend. The Pacers host the Milwaukee Bucks in the opening best-of-7 series. Game one will be on Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse starting at 1 p.m. The second game of the series will be in Indianapolis on Tuesday, April 22. The action shifts to Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee for games three and four on April 25 and 27. If the series continues, it will return to Indy on April 29 for game five.

The movie's climax features the historic 1965 Newport Folk Festival when Dylan and his band opened with an electric set that shocked the audience and turned American pop culture on its head. The very guitar from July 25, 1965, is part of The Jim Irsay Collection. The Indianapolis Colts owner has assembled decades of historic memorabilia from music, movies, and American history.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Seattle Storm today signed veteran guard Erica Wheeler. Per team policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed. Wheeler spent the last two seasons with the Indiana Fever, playing an average of 20.4 minutes per game. In 2023 and 2024, she put up an average of 8.5 points, 3.4 assists and shot 40.4% from the field. On June 7, 2024, she scored her 2,500th career point, becoming just the fourth undrafted player to reach the milestone.

FISHERS — Three Indy Ignite players have been named to play in the inaugural Pro Volleyball Federation All-Star Match that Indy serves as the host for on Saturday, February 22 at the Fishers Event Center. Ignite setter Sydney Hilley, outside hitter Leketor Member-Meneh and opposite hitter Azhani Tealerwere among those selected to the two 12-player teams in a compilation of voting by PVF fans, coaches and league officials.
