The Museum of Northern History was once again able to get government funding for two summer students. On June 11, during a dedication at Kirkland Lake's Cenotaph, the names of 27 men who died serving their country in battle were unveiled. A plaque containing those names will soon be added to the Cenotaph. In the photo are Legion, Branch 87 President John MacDonell, Second Vice President Bill Monery, Betty-Ann Monteith, whose father is among the 27 on the plaque and Kirkland Lake author Bill Glover.
