The Kewpies scored the highest finish between the three Columbia schools, earning 218.5 points to place 12th out of 19 competing teams. The Spartans placed 13th and the Bruins finished 19th with 203.5 and 91.5 points, respectively.

By Brady Shanahan The Boone County Commission has approved funding for a first-of-its-kind facility providing childcare aid to first responders. In partnership with the state of Missouri, $2.5 million of funding will go toward a Public Safety Childcare Center, the allocation of which was approved in the Commission's Tuesday meeting. Standing at 10,000 square feet, the new facility will provide around the clock childcare availability.
