    The No. 23 Missouri Tigers played Mississippi State in its final away game of the year, defeating the Bulldogs 39-20. Despite a slow start on offense, the Tigers settled in and controlled the pace of the game. Before safety Daylan Carnell’s 68-yard fumble recovery touchdown in the first quarter, Missouri seemed to be in for another scrappy game.

    The No. 24 Missouri Tigers faced the Oklahoma Sooners in a matchup touted as a “renewed rivalry,” as the former Big 12 team faced Missouri for the first time as an SEC team. The game was tied 16-16 late in the fourth quarter and the ball was in Missouri’s possession when the Tigers made a catastrophic error. Jamal Roberts fumbled the ball at the 40-yard line and it was picked up by Oklahoma safety Billy Bowman Jr., who returned the fumble all the way for a touchdown.

Cook exited the game in the first quarter and spent time at a local hospital before coming back in the third quarter to lead a 17-play, 95-yard touchdown drive to seal the Homecoming victory.
