BRATTLEBORO — A former Brattleboro Union High School athlete has been making some strides in the ultra running world. The last time it happened was in 2004, when the then Colonels finished the regular season 10-3-1, but lost 4-1 in playdowns against Spaulding.

STRATTON — A long standing tradition that is both a festive family affair and a marker for a new season will take place again this year when Stratton holds its annual Gobble Wobble on Thanksgiving Day. “I think it falls into a lot people’s family traditions of being up in Vermont for … Thanksgiving weekend. We have a lot of homeowners that participate in the race itself,” said Digital Marketing Manager for Stratton Mountain Andrew Kimiecik. “A 5K is one of the easier races to run.
