PENSACOLA--- A Spirit Airlines flight flying from Houston to Orlando declared an emergency midflight on Saturday. The flight was forced to descend and land at Pensacola International Airport. The City of Pensacola confirms the Airbus A320 made a precautionary landing at the airport carrying 182 passengers. The plane landed safely and no injuries were reported. The city said any other details would need to come from Spirit Airlines. The exact reason the aircraft declared an emergency is not known.

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -- A Latino organization says there are not enough translation resources for inmates who only speak Spanish at the Escambia County Jail. The issue was brought up at public forum by the director of the Hispanic Resource Center of Northwest Florida, Grace Resendez McCaffery. McCaffery says this impacts anyone who doesn't speak English as their first language. She says translation problems with Spanish speaking inmates at the jail have been ongoing.
