    MARY ESTHER, Fla. -- The city of Mary Esther is giving residents the all clear after its water customers were issued a boil water notice starting last week and through the weekend. City officials say it was all caused by a main waterline break off of Miracle Strip Parkway when a vehicle struck a fire hydrant last Tuesday. The city performed emergency repairs and issued the notice. Nearly a week since the break, the city’s manager says after several rounds of testing, the water is now safe to drink.
