(WJET/WFXP) – A Pennsylvania woman lost over $50,000 from a Facebook scam. According to a report, the victim transferred $35,000 from a retirement bank account to an unknown suspect posing as “Matthew West” whom she contacted through Facebook in October 2024. Then on Jan. 9, 2025, she transferred an additional $15,000 from a joint PNC bank account into a Bitcoin account.
