Brayden Rouse visited the University of Alabama for the first time last fall for a game, but it wasn't until the open contact period in January that the No. 4 linebacker in the country picked up an offer from the Crimson Tide. He told Bama247 then that he was "very interested" and the plan was to return for a spring practice. Rouse did exactly that in early March and Alabama "moved their way up" his board, he said then.

There has been plenty to keep track of when it comes to the latest Alabama basketball roster movement. The NCAA Transfer Portal remains open until April 22 and the Crimson Tide will surely continue to be active with three scholarship spots now open after another departure earlier this week. The latest is Labaron Philon, who announced his intentions that he is "all in on starting (his) pro career" on Monday.

Alabama signed three prospects from the state of Georgia as part of the 2025 class, two of whom committed to the Crimson Tide before the end of March. Duke Johnson (LB) made his decision on March 20, while Luke Metz (LB) joined four days later and Marshall Pritchett (TE) flipped from North Carolina in October. That trend looks to be continuing in the 2026 class with three of the four early commits hailing from the Peach State.
