For the second consecutive cycle, Alabama has flipped a quarterback committed elsewhere following a visit to campus during the summer. Jett Thomalla (Omaha, NE), who was committed to Iowa State since April, has had a change of heart and will play his college football at the University of Alabama. He announced the news on Tuesday, June 17. The four-star quarterback first jumped on the Bama247 radar after announcing an offer from the Crimson Tide on May 15, where he told Bama247 this soon after.
