The teams faced off twice, going 1-0-1 in the regular seasonm but in this one only one team had Morgan Murphy. No. 7 Marshfield (14-5-2) shocked the Patriot League and shook up Division 2 in a 2-1 overtime thriller to end the three-peat effort for Duxbury (17-6-2) at Gallo Ice Arena.

FOXBORO – Initial expectations were slightly tempered for the defending Division 3 wrestling champions, Tewksbury, coming into this season’s state championship due to a rash of injuries. But despite bringing only six wrestlers to the meet, Tewksbury was in the mix heading into the final series of matches but had to sweep first-place finishes in three events to ensure back-to-back Division 3 state titles. Manny Mengata was happy to deliver again.
