Evelyn Fernandez, 44, appeared in court to plead guilty to attempted murder, discharging a firearm, aggravated stalking and other charges in the Oct. 27, 2023 incident. Miami-Dade CorrectionsUnder the deal, Fernandez was sentenced to seven years in prison with credit for time served, followed by 20 years of probation.

Another woman has been arrested in Miami for allegedly drugging and robbing a man out of his Rolex watch, police said. Rachel Marie Warner, 23, was booked into a Miami-Dade jail early Thursday on charges of burglary with assault or battery, grand theft and possession of suspected ketamine, records showed. Authorities are searching for a man who was caught on camera pointing a gun at another driver during a road-rage incident near the Fort Lauderdale Airport, officials said. The incident happened around 7 p.m. on April 29 near the 300 block of Terminal Drive outside Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.
