A Key Largo kayak tour guide was arrested on a murder charge after a woman was found beaten to death in a hotel room at a resort, authorities said. Dylan Lamb, 33, was arrested Tuesday on charges including homicide, kidnapping-false imprisonment, and evidence destroying, Monroe County jail records showed. Monroe County Sheriff's Office officials said Lamb met 43-year-old Nadyne Marie Tillman at the Amoray Dive Resort on Saturday morning.

A man wanted in a homicide was shot and killed by Miami-Dade deputies on Monday as they attempted to take him into custody, authorities said. Investigators said they were surveilling the suspect at the Extended Stay America on 7th Street in the Blue Lagoon neighborhood when they tried to apprehend him as he entered his vehicle.

One person is dead after what appears to be a shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade early Monday. The sheriff's office is investigating at NW 27th Avenue and NW 30th Street. NBC6 crews saw yellow evidence markers typically used to mark bullet casings, but authorities did not confirm who had died or how. A man who survived the horrific triple killing in a Tamarac neighborhood is speaking out after he said he confronted a woman at the victims' home who lied about being related to the alleged gunman. The shooting happened back on Feb. 16 on North Plum Bay Parkway, when authorities said 43-year-old Nathan Gingles gunned down his estranged wife, Mary Gingles, her father, David Ponzer, and their neighbor, Andrew Ferrin.

Making your next appointment at the DMV may have just gotten a little bit easier. Miami-Dade commissioners passed legislation on Tuesday to try to stop scalpers from obtaining Department of Motor Vehicle appointments, and NBC6 took to the DMV early Wednesday to see the long line for ourselves. At the office on NW 37th Avenue and NW 7th Street by Magic City Casino, one woman said she'd been in line since Tuesday evening.
