One of the weirdest and funniest premises in Max Huffman's earlier book Cover Not Final is that live music is illegal within its world. Used as a springboard for a set of gags, the reader gets their giggles, while the mind still reels at how unenforceable such a rule would be. Like the preceding volume of crime funnies, Huffman's minicomic series Hypermutt is set in Business Park, situating Huffman's surrealism inside a landscape of corporate blandness.

Peep is a new anthology, edited by Sammy Harkham and Steve Weissman, printed at the same dimensions as Kramers Ergot 10 was, but at only 48 pages, and staple-bound. There is a high number of contributors - 29, if you count cover artist Alex Schubert - but everyone only has a few pages to work with.

I'm sorry, there is simply no honest way to talk about this comic without evoking truly gross language. "Mommy milkers" may be the most odious turn of phrase to matriculate its way up into the broader internet idiom from the depths of porn-addled forum posters, but Miguel Vila's Milky Way is a comic about men who love pornography and the woman they suggest might excel producing work within one particular niche of it.
