BANDON, Ore. — The start of summer and calmer weather calls for spending more time outdoors. However, it’s not always an easy time to tee off. Over at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, the expectation is to always golf as much as you can. With nearly 300,000 rounds played yearly, the works endlessly to ensure the grounds are well kept. As we start inching closer to the start of the summer months, temperatures start to climb further into warmer territory. We've remained rather steady into the 70s over the last few weeks. However, a steady ridging over Nevada and California has managed to bring significantly warmer temperatures into the western valleys. The warmer temperatures are expected to really pick up over the weekend with near record conditions.
