The event is set to start off Friday at 8:00 p.m. and again Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Matthew Knight Arena. Tickets can be purchased online for both or a single day.

SISTERS, Ore. — Nothing says the winter season is here like fresh snow and people hitting the slopes. Snowfall in the Cascades starting in early November, leading to a snowpack built earlier than usual. For Hoodoo Ski Resort in Sisters, OR it was no different than the others. Matthew McFarland at Hoodoo tells me to create a base for early openings, they must create a base layer of at least 30 inches. However, the type of snowfall can make a difference.
