Predicting how soil microbes modulate plant resilience to climate change is critical to mitigating the negative effects of climate change on ecosystems and agriculture. 2. Previously, it was demonstrated that heat, drought, and their legacies altered soil microbiomes and potential plant symbionts.

Brett Andrew Button, 59, was driving wedding guests from the Hunter Valley vineyards to Singleton on 11 June last year when the bus rolled and hit a guard rail at Greta.

The 4.5-magnitude earthquake that struck Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter region of New South Wales on Saturday was the latest in a series of moderate-sized events near the city in just two weeks. A 4.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded on August 23, followed by a 4.5 magnitude earthquake in the same area the next day.

A 4.7-magnitude quake was recorded on 23 August, then a 4.5-magnitude quake rocked the same area the next day.

Fortescue Future Industries says a green hydrogen project at the closed Liddell Power Station site in NSW is no longer a priority. Fortescue chair Andrew Forrest launched a feasibility partnership with AGL, which owns the site, in 2021. AGL says it is still interested in developing green hydrogen at Liddell, alongside other renewable industries. Multinational metals giant Fortescue has confirmed it has put green hydrogen plans for the NSW Upper Hunter on the backburner.
