A funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday in honor of the 220 flood victims killed in the hurricane-like storm that hit Spain’s Mediterranean Coast at the end of October. King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia attended the liturgy and were warmly welcomed by the general public and the families of victims. The Moroccan and Spanish governments have reached a trade agreement that will simplify the inspection of Moroccan agricultural products landing on Spain’s shores before they enter the European market. Citing the Moroccan news site Hespress, La Gaceta reports the two governments have agreed that Spain will accept the inspection documents of Moroccan authorities—specifically the National Office of Food Safety (ONSSA)—for agricultural products.

Longstanding internal migration patterns in Spain are reversing, evidence of geographical shifts in economic dynamism in the country. The trend shows in the latest figures from Spain’s Tax Agency (AEAT) on tax residency, El Debate reports.
