Cadent Gas has said that from July 21, it will begin work in Three Elms Road in Hereford. Multi-way temporary traffic lights will be in place with delays likely, according to the gas company. The works are scheduled to finish by September 1. According to Herefordshire Council, the works are to replace gas mains. There is also a scheduled road closure in Three Elms Road by Herefordshire Council from August 18 to August 26.

A Zipper bus at Hereford railway station (image: Hereford City Council) HEREFORD Zipper Bus Service has shared a passenger announcement today (June 3), saying "unforeseen circumstances" have affected the service. The service says: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, only two Zipper buses are in operation today. Yeomans Travel has provided a replacement for bus number three, so please keep an eye out for an alternative vehicle on that route.

Fire crew called out to garden blaze (Image: A fire engine was involved in the crash (stock pic)) A FIRE crew was called out to reports of a fire in the garden of a property in a Herefordshire town this morning (June 3). A crew from Leominster Fire Station was called at 9.08am to a property in South Street, Leominster. On arrival they found a bonfire, which needed to be extinguished using a hosereel jet. The surrounding tree line and hedgerow were also dampened down.
