    The 17-year-old cat named Gypsy was shot in the leg by an air rifle three weeks ago, but this has only just been reported to West Mercia police. A force spokesperson said her distraught elderly owners who live at Born court, New Street, Ledbury rescued Gypsy from France when she was only a few years old. She is under the care of a local vet, who has said the pellet is in too deep and cannot be removed.
