IDAHO FALLS — Dozens of community members recently came together to celebrate a seven-year-old boy whose classmates didn’t show up to his birthday party. Kayla Havens of Idaho Falls said her son Brennan, who is autistic, celebrated his seventh birthday on May 31. Kayla said her son doesn’t have friends outside of school, so she planned his birthday party around the last week of school so his classmates could come.

BLACKFOOT — A 14-year-old boy was found dead near the Blackfoot River, The Bingham County News reported on June 3, 1912. Richard Lee, the son of a local attorney, reportedly left home Thursday morning and went down to the Blackfoot River. He didn’t return home that evening.

The incident happened May 24, 2025, in Addison, a village in DuPage County, Illinois, at about 8:40 a.m. Footage shows a Penske truck driving down the road when out of nowhere it blows up.

BLACKFOOT, Idaho — Seniors at an Idaho high school took a unique spin on their senior prank this year by doing something still memorable, but also heartwarming. Libby Lindsay, senior class president at Snake River High School in Blackfoot, came across a video online of the idea to bring a child with you to school. She thought it would be a fun idea to have the seniors at her school do that for a senior prank.
